Plot wise, there is not a lot to tell, because most of the time nothing happens. A woman is suspicious of her new boyfriend and father of the child she is pregnant with. Lots of mist and bad weather in Scotland, lots of strange characters and allusions to things that happened (or didn't happen) in the past. I'm three quarters through the story and desperate for some action...

Was hat Sie am meisten an Gillian McAllisters Geschichte enttäuscht?

Das Buch war ja als Psychothriller deklariert - die Geschichte dreht sich dann aber nur noch im Kreis und wird richtig langweilig.

Würden Sie sich auch für ein anderes Hörbuch interessieren, das Colleen Prendergast spricht?

Nein, der schottische Dialekt, den sie für die männliche Rolle sprechen musste war fruchtbar. Das ist, als wenn ein Hamburger einen Bayern sprechen soll.

Sie mochten dieses Buch nicht ... Haben Sie vielleicht irgendwelche rettenden Maßnahmen dafür?

ich glaube, wenn die Überschrift Psychothriller nicht gewesen wäre, sondern das Buch die Überschrift "Drama" gehabt hätte, wäre ich mit ganz anderen Voraussetzungen ans Hören gegangen.

Was wäre für andere Hörer sonst noch hilfreich zu wissen, um das Hörbuch richtig einschätzen zu können?

Es ist eine dramatische Beziehungsgeschichte.

Es hätte spannend werden können....aber dann..
