I first read this book as a teenager, and rereading it as an adult has made me appreciate it even more. The story of Eragon discovering the dragon egg, bonding with Saphira, and being thrust into a world of danger and destiny is just epic. The worldbuilding is rich, the lore is fascinating, and even from the beginning, you can feel the depth of what’s to come.

It’s the kind of story that makes you fall in love with fantasy all over again.

A must read for fantasy lovers

The music at the beginning is a bit distracting, and Saphira’s voice is hard to get used to. Otherwise everything is perfect!
