this is an epic story about adventure, magic and love. It's brilliantly narrated and takes you on an marvelous journey. the MCs have to overcome many difficulties, it's harsh sometimes but fear not, in the end all is well

I am at the end of the first book. So far I find the story well written, engaging and well thought out. The characters are fleshed out and their actions make sense within their frames (regardless of whether they're 'good' actions). The world and story are interesting. I like both main characters and really want to know what will happen to them (crossing fingers that there'll be a somewhat good ending for them).
