Very entertaining and educational
The book has incredibly interesting content about human behaviour and the science behind it. The professor is also incredibly entertaining.

A real source of practical knowledge ...

Great introduction
though more of a recap if you already read some books. No new insights or research presented.
Recommended if you want a quick overview.

Insights - research based yet fun
I enjoyed listening to these lectures. Many real life examples helped me remember the research results. Spoken in an engaged way, I caught myself occasionally commenting and giggling. Absolutely worth it!1

Extremely interesting
Halten Sie die Hörbuch-Ausgabe von Understanding the Mysteries of Human Behavior für besser als das Buch?
PDF datei wird mitgeliefert, ich finde es aber angenehm das buch beim joggen, spülen oder einfach so zum entspannen zu hören.
Was mochten Sie an der Handlung am liebsten?
detailierte analyse verschiedener emotionen, logischer aufbau der lektionen der zu tieferem verständnis führt
Was wäre für andere Hörer sonst noch hilfreich zu wissen, um das Hörbuch richtig einschätzen zu können?
Streng genommen müsste ich dem sprecher 4* geben, da er auch der autor und professor ist tue ich das nicht. es gibt bessere leser aber auch viel schlechtere. mir ist sein vorlesstil nicht besonders aufgefallen.

interesting but examples from general knowledge
intersecting but tue author uses general knowledge ed examples, like why we blush, why we laugh.
Maybe I need to listen to it again, but I was hoping for something a bit more researched. Its nice to know why we laugh or blush, but that is not why I bought the audio book.

Annoying speaker spoils all the fun
Was braucht dieses Hörbuch, um für Sie zu einem 4- oder 5-Sterne Hörerlebnis zu werden?
It's a nice idea to record the lectures of renowned professors. Unfortunately Professor Leary is lisping quite strongly. Combined with the pronounciation of the english th this is so annoying that I could not concentrate on the content. His narratives are quite boring, he's repetitive and speaks way too slow. Plus long pauses. Even listening to it at 1.5x speed did not help. I'd be very interested in the content because I assume that he's a very good researcher. But I just can't listen to that audiobook.
