Amazingly well written and innovative fantasy
Absolutely fantastic, one of the most well written series I have ever read. Great Characters and a phenomenal plot. This Series has it all

I’ll keep thinking about this book
Very interesting story and turns in the last book of the trilogy.
It is down to earth and thought provoking.
I feel like this shouldn’t be necessary to mention, but it’s refreshing to have female main characters that feel right (and not obviously written by men for men).

Unclear storytelling
This book should have been better edited. The author has amazing character gallery and the relationship is intricate and creadible. However the whole series is weak in the storytelling. Fascinating scenes are stacked upon eachother seemingly haphazardly. For grownups, and that is appreciated. Reading is very good

Very intriguing! Loved the book!
Although the beginning is not an “easy one” getting into the story is really worth it!
The story overall reminded me of Darkovers stone-matrix theme.
The way the ancient/futuresc powers are wielded by humans is very intuitive and artfully depicted.
The big picture that develops over the three books is intriguing and stunning!
Robin Miles does an outstanding job not only reading this book to you but unfolding the pictures like a panorama of perceptions through her v.o.i.c.e.
Kudos to this artful reading! (Going to check out all the books she did, now!)

Better than Lord of the Rings
Best fantasy trilogy I’ve ever read. N. K. Jemisin is unbelievably skilled - you can tell she has all the literary tricks down. At the same time the books are an easy and fast read, incredibly suspenseful and surprising. I just finished the last of the three at 3 am, just because I couldn’t wait another day.
Can someone please make a major movie out of this? It’s about time for some fantasy motion pictures with strong female leads!
