Absolut zu empfehlen
Geschichte und Charaktere sind grossartig ausgelegt und Toby Longworth ist einer der besten Sprecher die ich bisher gehört habe. Seine tiefe, sonore Stimme passt perfekt in das dunkle Warhammer 40k-Universum und ich freue mich schon jetzt auf den 3. Teil!

Well read Dan Abnett book
In case you have not read / heard fvr first book and the first few stories from the magos you may lay this book down and start with the others. It's not imperativ but I think since this series is about the live and the adventures of Eisenhorn it's best to read them in order.
Anyhow, this is, again, a very good audio book, as the others mentioned above. I like the voice of the reader especially.
It's hard to write anything about the story itself without spoiling but it's another hunt for heretics thoughout the helican subsector. During this story one will meet old acquaintances, miss those who were lost in time, and make new one. Like the fist book the story behind the starting point is larger than assumed at first glance. But it is still not just a rewriting of the first book.
I really liked it, because as the 2nd of 3 books this is where the charakter Eisenhorn is actually developing and shaping his future after the presentation in the first book.

Great book.
Really enjoyed this 2nd Eisenhorn book. Great job by Longworth. His reading style fits perfectly and he manages to give every character a unique voice that just sounds and feels right and suits the qualities of each of them. I like how Abnett writes and develops his stories. Loaded with action and authentic characters. The ending came too quick and felt a little short tho.

A must and classic for 40k fans, inquisition story par excellence. A nice scifi/fantasy read for non-40k folk. Can only recommend.

Just a great 40k Introduction
Reader it twice and heard it thrice. Still great canon material regarding blackstone. Everyone who is interested in the feel of the 40k Fluff should own the Eisenhorn Saga.
