Der Autor liest sehr getragen, passend zum Epos. Allerdings lässt die Aufnahmequalität öfter zu wünschen übrig und man hört auch Schlucken, Atmen, Seitenblättern etc. des Sprechers.

Complete Mahabharata, however quantity problems

This is a fairly long and complete version of the Mahabharata. It is narrated in a very accent free English and therefore is very well understandable. However, the tracks have some technical quality problems:
1. Frequent background noises (such as breathing noises from the narrator), which obviously have not been edited out.
2. Occasional mistakes where the narrator ends in mid-sentence. That happens repeatedly and and even doing some important story arks. obviously this interferes with the listeners understanding of the story.
3. There are better versions of the story eg by C. Rajagopalachari. In this one, some plot aspects are overdeveloped and told in a very exaggerated way and a lot of time is taken up with praise of the heroes. I know this is the case in every version, but this one is absolutely excessive.
Conclusion: good narration but not satisfying technical finish.
