Tremendous!

Toll!
Eins meiner Lieblings-Hörspiele! Super Sprecher (vom Allerfeinsten!!), eine phantasievolle, spannende Geschichte und das Ganze wunderbar umgesetzt. Ich höre es mir ein paar Mal im Jahr an und bin sofort wieder mittendrin in London Below, und es ist bis heute jedesmal ein Erlebnis.

Brilliant Radio Drama with wonderful Voice Actors
I am a big Neil Gaiman Fan. This came to be, because my English teacher one day gave me a copy of "Neverwhere" saying "Read it, I am sure you'll love it." He was right, and I have been reading Gaiman's novels ever since, but "Neverwhere" remains my favorite.
I am not going to tell anything about the story, which is absolutely superb, but about the radio drama. It is not an audiobook or a simple reading, but a dramatization. Every character is spoken by a different actor. The cast is actually so good, it could have been the cast for a hollywood movie. James McAvoy as lead character does extremely well and has such a nice voice. Other actors include Benedict Cumberbatch(he plays Holmes in Sherlock), Natalie Dormer (Game of Thrones), Anthony Steward Head (most people know him from Buffy, who has such a soothing voice and of course Christopher Lee, who always just needs to speak two words and you're totally floating.
Also the music and sound effects are very good, never too much.
I can definitely recommend this one. So grab some cookies and listen!

brilliant adaption of a great story
Brilliant adaption of the book by Neil Gaiman with really good actors (voices). An absolute must if you like fiction and intelligent and creative stories.

Good fun, excellent cast
and brilliant to add bloopers at the end, enjoyed that as much as the actual story. nicely bonkers 🤪. thumbs up.

That is a blast!

Wacky Story about a magical world below London
nice and easy Entertainment, what the story partly lacks in substance the fabulous cast of speakers nicely balances - in particular sassy James McAvoy, angelic Nathalie Dormer and diabolical David Schofield (no Need to mention the ever brilliant Benedict Cumberbatch). Have a Feeling too much content was left out in the Audio Drama Adaptation.
