"Modernized" with neo-liberal propaganda

Was genau hat Sie an Stoicism: Ultimate Handbook to Stoic Philosophy, Wisdom and Way of Life enttäuscht?

I bought this as an introduction to Stoicism. It serves the purpose in a way, but it's peppered with neo-liberal propaganda. In the author's opinion, stoicism means putting up with African migrants coming to leech welfare from our taxes, converting to Islam and giving away Europe, like there's nothing we can do. Well, no. My stoicism would be fighting for what we are, for our countries, families and property. Kicking the invaders out.

Würden Sie sich wieder etwas von Thomas Beckett anhören?

No way.

Was mochten Sie nicht am Vortrag von Martin James?

He reads like a school boy. Up, down, period, up, down, period.

Was wäre für andere Hörer sonst noch hilfreich zu wissen, um das Hörbuch richtig einschätzen zu können?

This is politically correct and neo-liberal. If I knew that, I would have chosen something else, from another author.
