great story with an interesting ending
I had to start the audio book twice to really get into it. it's best to listen for an hour straight in the beginning otherwise it's hard to stay on track. the switch between the protagonists was interesting. at some point you knew something that others didn't know yet. and the ending is very sad. The only thing that bothered me, was the fact about the journalist's end story. I'd have loved to hear what she wrote.
all over an awesome story. Peter Noble did an outstanding job reading it. I very much enjoyed it.

Very different, but powerful and touching
At times I found the book extremely detailed and slow, but after finishing it I realise that the level of detail is necessary to paint the full picture. The story is developing at a slow pace, nothing for people who expect a lot of action (at least prior to the end), but it is a great story which offers a lot more than your usual crime fiction. And I rarely felt so antagonised by one character in a book, but I would happily read another instalment only to see Emma go down. I highly recommend this book, in particular to those who like stories beyond crime fiction.
