The complete history of Carthage
It is the most detailed history of Carthage I have read so far. It does not simply cover its history from its founding by phoenician merchants from modern day Lebanon, its voyages of discovery as far south as Southern Africa and as far north as the Arctic and the establishment of empire, its wars with the Greeks and the punic wars and its destruction by the Romans, but also its relations with the Kingdom of Numidia and the Celtiberians of Spain and even its depiction in Roman culture and its undergoing changes depending on the current Zeitgeist. I can only recommend it.
