It's not too fast paced like many other story and actually fleshes out the characters. I heard/listened to well over 100 lit rpgs and this book is definitely in the top 5 for me!

I think there is room for improvement for the author, but I enjoyed the story.

I've read the first 3 books on royalroad and now bought the ab to relisten to the first part (it was some time ago when i read book 1). Though i remembered the story it never got boring. It may seem slow paced cause the mc stays at a young age for a long time, but there is always something interesting happening. And contrary to most litrpgs its not just one fighting scene after another, but it actually has a real story (and a good one at that). So far it also seems to be really well thought out, some things get introduced early on, only to get important much later. The system is beautifully constructed and works consistent throughout the books.
I can fully recommend it, its one of the best (if not the best) book of the genre.

The narrator is sometimes a bit overacting imo, but i guess overall he does a decent job.

eine gut geschriebene coming of age storry das isekai Element wäre hier nicht notwendig gewesen, und das mentale Alter des MC schwankte manchmal sehr stark ansonsten eine spannende Geschichte mit interessanten Elementen. ich freue mich auf den nächsten Teil.

When I listened to the the 1st 5 min. of this book. I though, yep, I need to listen to more. I mistakenly bought another book which of course I couldn't return and decided to take my chance and finish it. No use crying over spilt milk, right? 2 days later, I was finally free to get this one and I did not regret it. Some say it's slow in the progression...yes it's true but it is very realistically written.
The Author tells a story about a boy who got a 2nd chance at life in another world. The Narrator relays this story bringing life to the characters. The emotions were real, I felt sad where I was to feel sad, laughed about the main characters antics and how he dealt with different situations.
He protected his family but not overly so, he helped them achieve heights that might have been impossible without his help so that they can protect themselves,
I can't think of another book you can compare this with so I can just say, take your chance...You might or might not like it...I enjoyed it and I am looking forward to Book 2.

It had or has potential. But its really slow and not much Progress. The MC doesnt has much drive and is kinda dumb and whiney. It was okay to listen to it passivly, due to the lack of Progress, you wouldnt miss anything of importance.

if you like extreme detailed and repeating content, go for it.
