The overall story is entirely pointless and doesn't enhance our expand anything meaningful about the titular character or his legion. The storytelling is sluggish and uninspired, late-heresy emperor's children are being written like generic Marines with a veneer of what I can only assume are cliff notes passed to the author of what the emperor's children are about.
I generally enjoyed the character series for the horus heresy, but this is definitely a low point and I hope Marc Collins stays away from future heresy books.
The voice acting was on point and enjoyable.
