An excellent story with an outstanding speaker. There are twists and turns and a great finale under a Texas storm. I particularly enjoyed the the authentic characters, insights to daily life and the history of mexican-Americans. The book was written in 2001, but now in 2018 it appears more relevant than ever.

Reacher at his best

Story line and the narrator took me to Jack Reacher and Echo. The hours pass by and I can‘t get enough.
Unfortunately, Jeff Harding has not spoken all audio books of the series. So now I have to skip a few to drift into Reacher‘s world with the right tone again.
