A story worthwhile any dynasty
Tom Holland is an excellent story teller and Mark Meadows an excellent narrator . Absolutely worthwhile the time

As entertaining as it is educational
Fantastically written and well-read. Even though I had already been familiar with the events (and rumours) depicted here, I simply could not stop listening. A masterful narration of history. The same, btw, applies to the prequel (Rubicon).

a dine piece of popular history
Tom Holland is a scholar with not only very detailed Knowledge, but also a great amount of passion. wether or not one agrees with his assumtions, or likes his dramatic style - his dedication is admirable and his Portraits are colourful

Fascinating
Tom Holland always has to tell interesting ,astonishing and facts never heard before which add avast variety of insights to your scarce school-day-knowledge.This enables you to understand this epoque from a new point of view.From where has he derived all this knowledge?? Just incredible..Be enlightened by this tremendously informative masterpiece!!
