The enemy unknowingly opened a portal to the Netherworld, and our world’s only wizard somehow managed to close it.

Unfortunately, something got through. Something big. A dragon. tolle Charaktere/ Story mit witzigen Momenten. Neben der spannenden Geschichte für mich gut geeignet meine Englisch-Skills zu verbessern.

Thoroughly enjoyed the story. If I am too easily amused by a talking dog rolling in things.... sorry. Otherwise Craig again spins an interesting tale with solid characters and lots of surprises.... RC Bray is The Man!!!

I just enjoy this style of writing and the narrator is also really good. If you enjoyed ex-force you’ll enjoy this just as much.

While the first book was in the "Good enough" category, the second one does find it's grove and is much better, creating anticipation for the next book.
Bray is excellent as always, but having the ex-force voice is not a good choice. Alansons ensemble of characters is very much the same as in Ex-Force, personality wise,, which is perfectly fine and true for many authors, and with the same narrator there are just too many "sounds like ..." moments.

This is another masterpiece by Craig Alonson. I look forward to the next book, hopefully narrated by R. C. Bray again who brings so much life to the characters.

Sadly the story feels boring and long winded to me. I liked ex force even when it felt long winded sometimes too but convergence does nothing for me. I really wanted to like it. Maybe the story gets better in the next few books. RC Bray didn't shine this time ether, his new Zealand accent character was pretty hit and miss
