The enemy unknowingly opened a portal to the Netherworld, and our world’s only wizard somehow managed to close it.

Thoroughly enjoyed the story. If I am too easily amused by a talking dog rolling in things.... sorry. Otherwise Craig again spins an interesting tale with solid characters and lots of surprises.... RC Bray is The Man!!!

tolle Charaktere/ Story mit witzigen Momenten. Neben der spannenden Geschichte für mich gut geeignet meine Englisch-Skills zu verbessern.

While the first book was in the "Good enough" category, the second one does find it's grove and is much better, creating anticipation for the next book.
Bray is excellent as always, but having the ex-force voice is not a good choice. Alansons ensemble of characters is very much the same as in Ex-Force, personality wise,, which is perfectly fine and true for many authors, and with the same narrator there are just too many "sounds like ..." moments.
