Die Serie hat mit Buch 1 wirklich gut gestartet, sie war spannend, lustig und prickelnd. Aber im 2. Teil fängt es dann an blutrünstiger zu werden und im 3. Teil reiht sich dann eine Schlacht an die nächste. Es scheint fast als sei die Autorin überzeugt man bräuchte unbedingt möglichst viele Monster und Ekel erregende Szenen im eine Geschichte spannend zu machen... Das sehe ich überhaupt nicht so, für mich verliert die Geschichte dadurch an Spannung und Reiz und sie ist einfach nur plump und einfallslos. Auch die Charaktere bleiben hier vor allem im 3. Teil auf der Strecke, man bekommt sämtliche Namen um die Ohren gehauen, aber sie bleiben oberflächlich.
Wer Gemetzel und Schlachten im fantasy Bereich mag und nix anderes braucht mag hier gut bedient zu sein. Aber ich bin da einfach anspruchsvoller und habe schon zu viele gute fantasy Geschichten gelesen. Die Sprecherin ist gut, reißt es aber auch nicht mehr raus. Schade!
