Über diesen Titel
Breaking up is not an easy thing to do. The ending of a relationship, whatever the reason, can be devastating. Finding a positive and productive ending to anything can be amazingly challenging. Whether it's a marriage, career, ministry assignment, or friendship, even the loss of a loved one, endings can often turn out to be extremely messy. After all, in an attempt to preserve our self-worth, we often instinctively make someone the bad guy.
Ninety-nine percent of the time, it has to be the other person. It's human nature to try to present to the world that we couldn't possibly be the reason for the separation. During these kinds of situations, most of us, like our first cash car, tend to break down. And like most people with limited resources, we look for the closest and cheapest shade-tree mechanic to repair our already deteriorating vehicle. Or, even worse we try with our limited experience and knowledge to fix things on our own.
Even a grade schooler can predict what’s going to happen. Our cars, like our lives, end up in the dumps. We literally break down. Inversely, very rarely do any of us break up. To make things clearer in this audiobook, we’re going to use the term break-up as a metaphor for using the ending of a relationship as an elevator to your next place of purpose and destiny in life.
In this publication, we will discuss the purpose, mechanics, and principles of ending a relationship well. At the end of the day, we want to all end up better, brighter, higher, and stronger than we were when we started.
