die Geschichte ist genial erdacht. Leider hat mich vor allem zu Beginn der Sprecher gestört - der zwar zugegebenermaßen wirklich fantastisch liest, jedoch niemals ein Gefühl von "jawoll, DAS ist der Doctor!" (oder Amy oder Rory) erzeugen konnte. Schade.

Die Geschichte selbst ist sehr interessant, allerdings habe ich in Kapitel 4 entnervt aufgegeben. Der Sprecher hat die unangenehme Eigenheit, dass er die Beschreibungen überwiegend in einer recht leisen Stimme vorliest und die Gespräche dafür deutlich lauter und intensiver spricht. Die Charaktere hören sich alle gleich an, auch wenn man merkt, dass er sich Mühe gibt, zumindest Amy einen schottischen Akzent zu verleihen. Das stetige Auf und Ab der Lautstärke ist so ablenkend und nervig, dass ich dieses Hörbuch an die Seite legen und den Rest der Geschichte als Paperbook lesen werde.
