I loved that David Tennant read this himself - full blast of Scottish accent while being at work. Perfect!!!

thrilling story

Ehrlichgesagt macht die Geschichte, meiner Meinung nach, nicht viel her. Irgendein obstruser Krieg auf einem fernen Planeten... Ich hab Sinn und Zweck nicht wirklich verstanden. Aber das macht (mir) nichts. David Tennant liest dieses Audio-Book mit einer Intensität, dass man trotzdem nicht aufhören kann zuzuhören. Wahrscheinlich könnte er mir auch das Telefonbuch vorlesen und ich fänd es spannend. Er beherrscht natürlich die wörtliche Rede des Doctors in Perfektion, aber nicht nur das - er ist ein begnadeter Vorleser, der einen in jeder Sekunde in den Bann schlägt. Ich weiß, Audiobooks sind nicht sein Hauptjob, aber ich hätte sehr gerne noch viel mehr Lesungen mit ihm. Dieses Buch lohnt sich hauptsächich für Doctor Who und Ten(nant)-Fans, aber als Vorleser sollten man David Tennant definiv im Auge behalten. Derzeit sind es hauptsächlich Kinderbücher und die alten DW-Audiobooks, aber ich hoffe, da kommt noch mehr!

Tennant interpretiert die verschiedenen Charaktere einfach klasse und es kommt bei mir einfach mehr Doctor Who Feeling auf, wenn ein Doctor vorliest.

Story war meiner Meinung nach auch spannend. Hat sich auf jeden Fall gelohnt.
