Die Geschichte beginnt mit einigermaßen interessanten Anfängen, doch anstatt den MC wachsen zu lassen wird er zunehmend zu einem verklemmten, antisozialen und psychotischen Charakter an dem echt so gar nichts sympathisch ist. Ich weiß nicht warum in jeder Geschichte wo jemand außergewöhnlich mächtig wird, der Protagonist zu einem völligen Psycho wird von dem man nicht weiß warum man überhaupt für den sein sollte und sich wünscht die Gegner würden diesem Trauerspiel doch endlich ein Ende bereiten.

I couldn't finish this one, the one-dimensional naive+idiotic virgin characters getting teased by "incredibly hot" slave women routine sucked the joy out of the plot for me. Add to that the flashback scenes filled with mundane banter and constant food and/or horny talk and I'm out.

I know for a fact it wasn't half as bad in the first book because I relistened most of it before I started this one. (Mainly because I was completely lost after the first hour into this. In order to first remember how we got there I had to relisten not only the ending, but also a few hours of miscellanous parts in the middle. Usually a quick recap does that work for me but nothing of the sort was offered in this one.)
