    Inhaltsangabe

From the best-selling author of Americanah and We Should All Be Feminists comes a powerful new statement about feminism today - written as a letter to a friend.

I have some suggestions for how to raise Chizalum. But remember that you might do all the things I suggest, and she will still turn out to be different from what you hoped, because sometimes life just does its thing. What matters is that you try.

In We Should All Be Feminists, her eloquently argued and much admired essay of 2014, Chimamanda Ngozi Adichie proposed that if we want a fairer world we need to raise our sons and daughters differently. Here, in this remarkable new book, Adichie replies by letter to a friend's request for help on how to bring up her newborn baby girl as a feminist. With its 15 pieces of practical advice, it goes right to the heart of sexual politics in the 21st century.

    Amazing!

This book is inspiring and thought provoking. I definitely recommend this book to absolutely everybody - not just people who are thinking about how to raise their child in a feminist way. I enjoyed listening to this book. It was very well written and the narrator was incredible.

    Crash course !

I loved this book. Chimamanda Ngozi Adichie has a wonderful and powerful voice, and I wish she had been the one chosen to narrate this book (though January Lavoy is a good narrator). With much insight, exceptional humanity - and not a little humor ;) - she shares her experiences and thoughts. This book was a balm to my soul.

Inspirational and thought provoking for everyone

I absolutely loved this book, it's full of universal truths about the today's world and it's conceptions. It inspired me to take inventory of the principals I was raised by, and compare it to what I have learned since. Definitely a great essay for everyone, male or female.

Loved It. Amazing how she simply addressed issues the society ignores or views as norm.
