The plot is quite exciting but it is very drawn out and padded out with loads of irrelevant details that distract from the storyline and are often not even thought through (like setting the table with knives and forks for a meal of spaghetti bolognese!).
The reader has a very stilted style and bad intonation which often leads to a distortion of the sense of a sentence. It often sounds like he isn't actually paying attention to the storyline at all. This makes listening rather tedious ans detracts from any tension or excitement there might be. I have tried out two of this series and wouldn't pay for this doubtful pleasure.

The story was so complicated with so many different lines that in the end I gave up. I listened to the book until it was finished, the narrator is very good, but I don't really know who killed who and why ;) lol...never ever has this happened to me before!
