The idea for the plot is not new, but developments are a little unexpected as the reader is at first steered into another direction. On the whole the story is good even though I could have done without the private worries of the protagonists, which are rather boring.
What I did not like was the way the book was read, and this will likely prevent me from getting more of this series. Liam Gerrard has a way of speaking as if he was reading a fairy tale that I do not appreciate. A good speaker would also better be able to distinguish accents, social background etc. The way he imitates women´s voices is bizarre. With a better speaker i might have appreciated this book more.
