Great novel about surviving the Z-spocalypse. All books are great. In book 3 the perspective changes, kind of strange but with book 4 its first person again wich benefitted the series from the start

Came here via the world war Z audiobook in which the happenings during the war are told in journalists interviews. Both books tell their story in a way so different from usual books 👌🏻
I really liked the idea of telling the story in a diary format. Must-listen audiobook for all fans of the genre.

The reader is only just acceptable. See, for example, how he tries to impersonate the young girl ... it almost made me laugh (with derision).
The plot is OKish but the writing is almost primitive. I am aware that the narrative is based on journal entries but still: virtually every sentence contains an “I” or “me”. Finally, the sheer number of involuntary funny phrases and utterances... At one point I thought about writing them all down to use here but decided against it - there were just too many.
