Deeply moving.
A word of warning upfront. If you're sensitive like me when it comes to crushing heartache in a book, you need to expect that this story will make you ugly cry more than once. it will stab at your heart like a Highlander's dagger. And yet, the beauty of this story is as drop as the pain. And the elation and happiness you'll feel at the happily ever after will be just as strong. So yes, it's tots)y worth the ride. A special mention must also go to the narrator who is great with both American and Scottish accents and, for someone who doesn't speak Gaelic and only heard it spoken a few times, speaks it more than convincingly. And it's definitely not an easy language to pronounce. I thoroughly enjoyed this audiobook and will definitely continue on to the next in the series!
