The Conversational Italian for Travelers Audio Dialogue Practice Book, Volume 1, is a companion book to the textbook Conversational Italian for Travelers, in that all content in Chapter 1 of the audiobook is covered in Chapter 1 of the text book, and so on, for the first 9 chapters of the textbook. (Volume 2, when released, will cover Chapters 10 through 18.) The audiobook provides language practice that includes and then goes beyond the examples provided in the textbook, to make conversational Italian truly come alive.

The focus of the Conversational Italian for Travelers textbook and the audiobook is on learning "all the Italian you need to enjoy your trip to Italy." The textbook is divided into three units: "Transportation," "City Life," and "At the Hotel and Restaurant." Volume 1 of the Audio Dialogue Practice Book covers Chapters 1 through 9 of the textbook and includes the entire "Transportation" unit and the first half of the "City Life" unit.
