Yee haw! It's a heap o' hilarious as radio's top comedians buckle on the spurs, grab the 10-gallon Stetsons, and slap leather on the purple sage! Straight-shootin' cowpokes, ornery varmints, and mangy owlhoots dot the trail as we round up a barrel of Western laughs!
Bing Crosby hosts The Lone Ranger, Roy Rogers visits with Bergen & McCarthy, and Red Skelton heads to Dead Eye's dude ranch. Come kick up your heels with Bob Hope, "Buck Benny," Fred Allen, Fibber McGee and Molly, and more!
Includes 11 digitally restored and remastered episodes. Episodes include: The Jack Benny Program: "Buck Benny Rides Again Part 1" 11-15-36; "Buck Benny Rides Again Part 2" 11-22-36; The Fred Allen Show: "The Prairie Predicament", 10-25-39; Fibber McGee and Molly: "Getting Ready for Ranch Vacation", 06-20-44; The Alan Young Show: "Cowboy Blood", 05-23-47; The Milton Berle Show: "A Salute to the Old West", 10-07-47; The Charlie McCarthy Show: Guest: Roy Rogers, 12-07-47; A Day in the Life of Dennis Day: "Dennis Helps Mr. Willoughby Obtain a Bank Loan", 12-10-47; Philco Radio Time: "The Lone Ranger and Walter O'Keefe", 01-07-48; The Red Skelton Show: "The Bet Continues", 10-23-49; Screen Directors' Playhouse: "The Paleface (with Bob Hope)", 03-03-50.
