It's a decent enough story with enjoyable characters and a nice take on an apocalyptic treat. Some of the jargon used feels very kliché and the gun descriptions are sometimes nonsense.

But all in all its a fun story to listen through.

The story spans quite a long period of time which makes it a little hard sometimes to keep track who when and where the story picks up after time progressions. Thankfully, there aren't many of those. The story is interesting and really picks up in the second quarter. It is well written without any lengths and manages to stay interesting throughout.
I really liked Rupert Friend's reading. It was pleasant listening to him narrate the story and he is easy and clear to understand. Well worth the listen!
