Inhaltsangabe

A mother and her teenage daughter are found brutally murdered in a remote farmhouse, one defiled by multiple stab wounds and the other left lying like Sleeping Beauty waiting for her Prince. Reluctantly, clinical psychologist Joe O'Loughlin is drawn into the investigation when a former student, calling himself the Mindhunter, trading on Joe's name, has jeopardised the police inquiry by leaking details to the media and stirring up public anger.

With no shortage of suspects and tempers beginning to fray, Joe discovers links between these murders to a series of brutal attacks where the men and women are choked unconscious and the letter A is carved into their foreheads. Typical Robotham

Even though I gave this book 4 stars, I'd like to say that - after reading several Robothams - one gets a little tired of his stories, which are more or less populated by the same characters (especially the killers). The stories are thrilling, you want to know 'whodunnit' but the more you read (or listen to), the flatter the books become. So as the others, this novel is good for a long drive for example, but do not expect too much.

packend erzählt und sehr gut gesprochen

tolles Buch, das durch den Sprecher noch an Ausdruck gewonnen hat! Auch für nicht Muttersprachler gut verständlich geschrieben und gelesen!
