Interessante Geschichte, aber im Vergleich zu anderen Ken Follett Büchern eher schwach. Teilweise sind die Geschehnisse recht vorhersehbar. Die Stimme des Sprechers habe ich als angenehm empfunden.

Typisch Ken Follett, ist das historische Setting durch persönliche Geschichten fesselnd dargestellt. Das Buch zieht einen in dem Bann, wie man es von den Ken Follett Büchern kennt. Auch das Geschichtliche, das man dabei lernt, ist sehr interessant.

It was as exciting as expected, yet completely different! An independent story about the creation of Stonehenge, which is one of the most iconic and enigmatic monuments in the world. Around 2500 BC, people begin construction on a new stone circle after destroying the original wooden ring by fire. A permanent monument made of stone came into being as a result of the vision that emerged from the ashes — a vision that continues to impress to this day.
This is a riveting tale of the individuals behind the structure: their lives, their challenges, their fervour, and the envy of those who couldn't stand their triumph.

I think Richard Armitage is perfect as the narrator of this story, and I would go as far as to say that he is absolutely perfect in this role.
