I am not a fan of books where the main character has no one else to talk to, however RinoZ found a smart workaround for this, so it doesn't get boring, and it's Jeff Hays that ultimately brings this story to life. Jeff conveys an energy and optimism that I have not come accross yet.

The story is original and in line with litrpg. The author does not take myself to serious and thus a light, fun and entertaining adventure is born.
It took me some time to realize that the bad (London dialect?) Accent used for the MC during the first hour was to show case the lower mental capacities of the MC... I felt like screaming everytime the MC said me'er instead of meter.
Great book, I will read on.

The human component of the story doesn't add anything interesting or needed to the overall narrative, I would even say the way the humans are portrayed makes the plot less believeable and the story would benefit if they were cut out of the story completely or at least only present when the protagonist meets them.
I like the concept of a human mind getting transplanted into another life form, but I don't like the approach most stories take to such an idea. This story is just on the edge of taking itself too lightly and telling the story not serious enough to engage me, I hope I'll like the sequel more, if not this series will end for me with the 2nd book.

Die Idee ansich ist zwar ganz nett ("I don't want to be the hive queen" fand ich zum Beispiel sehr gut), aber der Author konzentriert sich hier zu sehr auf die verschiedenen Kämpfe, hat idiotische Ideen für zB die Kommunikation der Ameisen (statt dass sie sich perfekt über Phäromone unterhalten können (was absoluter Schwachsinn ist, schon alleine, weil sich bei mehr als einem Phäromon alles vermischen würde - außerdem gibt es eh Magie.... Also warum?), hätte man auch einfach Telepathie untereinander nehmen können). Auch ergeben manchmal die größen absolut keinen Sinn (zB das übertrieben krasse 2-300 Jahre alte Kroko soll nur 20 Meter lang sein (aber das Titan Kroko mit 12 Metern soll dagegen winzig sein - allgemein sind da nicht nur Unsinnigkeiten, sondern auch Inkonsistenzen (Doppelkrokos waren bei den Meter/Fuß Angaben zb kleiner als Titan Krokos, aber im Narrativ waren sie dann trotzdem als viel großer gesehen)), aber von nem Mini-Black Hole, dass die Luft aus hunderten Metern Entfernung zu sich zieht, nicht komplett vernichtet werden?) Auch die Antiks von Anthony gehen einem langsam aber sicher nur noch auf die Nerfen... Jeff Hays macht in seiner Performance nen klasse Job, aber wenn man das hundertste Mal sein energisches "shattering bite - crunch" hört, geht einem auch das ganz schön auf den Keks.
Alles in allem finde ich sehr schade, wie wenig man neben den Kämpfen und dem Grinden an Inhalten mitbekommt und, dass RinoZ viele kleine Details nicht nach dem zweiten oder dritten Mal wegkürzt.
