After several years of listening, and reading, Karen Swan, the plot was kind of predictable. Nevertheless, it still was a peaceful day listening to the disentangling off intricate relationship-holdups. The story is like an old friend coming to visit in a new wardrobe.

As always with Karen Swan's Christmas novels I liked the secrets and the dramatic set up of the characters in this book. I loved the reader's voice and overall acting. I couldn't quite relate to the characters and wasn't as involved as with other books but nontheless I really liked listening to the whole book.

This christmas story has some very interesting twists. I was in for a casual christmas romance, and this story really surprised me. I liked it!
