In Dandi Daley Mackall’s warm, compelling Chasing Dream, young Ellie yearns for public acknowledgement that her horse, Dream, is a genuine champion - even if he isn’t some stuffy thoroughbred! But when Ellie’s plan to demonstrate Dream’s skill is thrown off by the horse’s unexpected illness, how will she cope? What matters more: Her desire to show off? Or Dream’s health?
Skilled voice actor Casey Holloway brings Ellie to life in her spirited performance of this wonderful work. Holloway has a light, energetic voice, and she trips through this action-packed tale with ease, pulling listeners along through Ellie’s triumphs and fears.
