After saving the world of Highlands from the eldritch horror and being crowned King, Jake had hoped for a chance to relax and enjoy fatherhood. New "Protagonist"

I liked all books until now and the different view points flesh out the different character, but in this book it was too much for me. One of his wives got roughly half of the books attention and this felt for me like a break in story telling. The main character finally can relax in this book and doing little "side missions". In my opinion, the integration of earth should have been a bigger part of the story. It's not really believable, that nearly all nation surrendered peacefully to the framework without forceful intervention.
