Über diesen Titel

Regan turns his full attention to the North to finally deal with the Undead Queen Alara. Challenges and barriers abound that work to keep him from achieving his goal. Magic, technology, and Regan's intelligence are put to the test as he fights his way north.

Louella continues to grow her town, drawing the attention to forces that she'd rather have nothing to do with. When a threat unlike anything before attacks her home, she works even harder to protect the ones she loves and the people who have come to depend on her.

Izora's life has been taking one turn after another, and she's not sure she can keep up much longer. When recalled back home to Jade Wind, she finds all is not as it seems.

but still very awesome indeed
also why is there a stupid minimum word count for reviews?

a bit short

I very much enjoyed the book but at several points the Voice actors were no louder than a whisper. The chosen moments were thematically very silent but it was still very hard to work with. the rest of the book is quite clear and loud so the difference is even more noticeable.

Good Story, slight Volume differences

The series gets worse with every new book, this newest addition doesn't feel like a coherent story anymore. It feels as if the story is being told by a partial amnesiac, some parts of the story are told in much detail and other parts are just forgotten.
New characters get introduced all the time while other characters just don't get mentioned again even though they should still be around and there is absolutely no reason for them to just vanish from the story. The focus of the story is all over the place, we get boring philosophical discussion between creation and destruction, but we just skip the part where the princess of a destroyed kingdom binds herself to a dungeon for some mysterious reason.
If this goes on then in the next 1 or 2 books there won't be any coherent story, it will all just be one big mess where random story bits are mushed together. It really saddens me, seeing a series with so much potential slowly breaking apart, it's revolting.

barely average
