Carousel is the story of a spoiled boy from an Indian family residing in the UK. Rajesh has had a privileged and pampered life and is resentful of being in his father's shadow. Desperate to make his mark in the world and by a twist of fate, Rajesh enters the grimy world of London's organized crime scene and becomes embroiled in a complex form of tax fraud called carousel fraud. Seduced by money, power, and a array of flamboyant cars and women, Rajesh is quickly losing control of his company, his marriage, and his freedom.
Based upon real-life characters and set in the affluent Indian/Asian community in London, this book centers around the female lead Tanya, who is dealing with an unwanted pregnancy, a cheating husband, and gangsters taking over her family business and has to rely on her street-smart past to claw her way out of the hole that she and her family find themselves in. A female lead fighting against all odds.
