As a construction worker (human), I have come to understand the importance of certain materials in my daily work. Just as bricks and mortar are essential for building a sturdy structure, there are certain elements that I have found to be crucial for me to have a successful day on the job (life).

One such material is determination. Without it, the heavy lifting and long hours would feel insurmountable. But with determination, every obstacle can be overcome, and every task completed with pride.

Another material is patience. When things don't go as planned, (many times it won’t) it is easy to become frustrated and lose focus. But with patience, we can take a step back and find a solution without compromising the quality of our work.

And of course, there is camaraderie (family and friends). The bonds formed between coworkers on a construction site are unbreakable. We rely on each other, support each other, and celebrate each other's successes. Without camaraderie, the work would feel solitary and the days would be long and lonely.

As I start each day, (morning time with Father-God) I remind myself to embrace the building blocks he has supplied (The Logos). They have become the cornerstone of my work (life) and have transformed the trajectory of my days entirely.
