At first I was skeptic, I don't have much interest in the game itself, even though the lore around it looks interesting, but Buckmaster's writing and Ryan Cooper's excellent Narration just hit the sweetspot for me. The Characters, while at the beginning seemingly bland, grow onto you, and the atmosphere is just top-notch, from Armbruster hunting his quarry through Solo Nobre, or him playing with his prey which bordered onto Nightmare Fuel at times, to the QRF Platoon that keeps getting back up and into the fight despite the adversity they face and casualties they suffer, and even simple things like the description of how it feels to pilot a Mog. It all comes together very nicely.

Overall, 4.5 out of 5, a Must-Listen for anyone that is into Military Sci-Fi that features Mechs and Power Armor, even if you aren't into the game it is based on.

One of the best video game Tie-in Novels I've listened to on Audible both in terms of Presentation and Delivery. If this had a Physical copy, I would buy one for myself and one for every friend who's interested. Ryan Cooper did a great job himself in bringing an underappreciated Universe from an underappreciated Video game to life. I'm excited for both a sequel to this novel and a sequel to the video game it's based upon. Keep being awesome!
