After "Hatchet" & "Raft" Gary Paulsen wrote an optional spin-off, that aske: Could Brian be able to survive a Canadian Winter? A simple change, that the emergency transmitter didn't work made it possible. Brian is still stranded in the Canadian Woods. The rifle gets broken, and he had to go back hunting with bow and arrow. It's getting cold, and now mistakes can have deadly consequences. Better learn quickly or you won't survive! It's a fascinating tale, in which Gary Paulsen also used his own experiences in the woods during winter. Richard Thomas does an excellent job as narrator! Enjoy :3
