Aftet many times reading this, both in paperback and e-book, it's a treat to hear it narrated. Although a bit on the quick side, the narrator did a good selection of character voices.

Die Geschichte ist ein sehr typischer Nora Roberts Plot.
Der Sprecher übertreibt leider den irischen Akzent. Man hat das Gefühl, dass ständig auf der Pfeife rumkauende Zwerge miteinander sprechen. Zum Schluss gleitet das Buch für 1 Minute in ein Hörspiel ab, als zwei Charaktere miteinander telefonieren. Warum? Merkwurdige Entscheidung des Regisseurs...

Trotzdem: wer Nora Roberts mag, wird dieses Hörbuch mögen.

while the story itself was quite nice to listen to, the audio quality was rather poor. It felt like the narrator had recorded the book at home with an old microphone and cassette recorder. Also the Irish accent took a while to get used to - my fault for not listening in to the audio sample. I probably would have chosen another book if I had known what it would sound like....
