And our new alien owner is kind enough that he's not holding me to the wife or slave deal even though that's what I was intended for. We've basically been dropped into a scene from Little House on the Alien Prairie, complete with his one-room cabin, and he's been the perfect gentleman. He's pretty great, and I'm actually starting to wish I could take him home with me.
He doesn't know it yet, but the threat of him going into "rut" is no longer a deterrent....

Das Buch ist insgesamt eher ein Intro für den nächsten Teil.
Auch fragwürdig, daß die für Menschen (abgesehen vom High-Tech-Klo) rückständig archaische Wohnsituation fast garnicht thematisiert wurde. Da ist noch nichtmal genug Platz für 2 Erwachsene +Kinder, kein Fliessendes Wasser, ... . {Wie wurde dann eigentlich der männliche Hauptcharacter dort aufgezogen?}
In der Zukunft sollte doch ein ausreichend grosses, faltbares 50.000$-Haus +5kWp Solaranlage mit Inseltauglichem Inverter und ein paar LFP-Akkus, ein Brunnen mit Pumpe und Filteranlage, eine Wärmepumpe für Warmwasser, Klima, und Heizung +zu guter Letzt eine Versickerungsanlage mit Miniklärwerk (wie in Deutschland vorgeschrieben) zusammenzustellen sein. Passt auch prima als Beifracht ins Intergalaktische Raumschiff. Das Aliens so etwas nicht haben, ist fragwürdig unrealistisch. Man muss selbst auf Erden nicht Elon Musk sein, um so etwas in die Pampa zu stellen.
