"Go do it, boy."
"What?"
Was she talking to me? I seemed to be the only boy around.
Kyle is quickly pulled out of his life as a lonely rancher's son when he collides with an alluring young bank robber, sealing his fate.
Kyle and Lisa wage a chaotic, decade-long crime spree across the country, forming reputations as "Billy and Beauty, " infamous, unforgettable, always running, and ending up too far from home.
Billy's First Ride is the novella-sized tale of an often unwitting and always reluctant former ranch hand turned criminal for love and his partner in crime; the psychopathic object of his affection, disdain, and ultimate instrument of his downfall.
