Bianca worries that her daddy, Gavin, is lonely and decides he needs a boyfriend for Christmas. So she enlists her father's best friend, the straight and unattached Curtis. Gavin has a Christmas wish, too, and Curtis setting him up on disastrous dates isn't part of it! Meanwhile, Curtis finds life becoming complicated as he tries to please Bianca, make Gavin happy, and fend off his own unexpected mixed feelings. Will anyone's wish come true?

Every advent season I love to re-listen to my favourite Xmas Audio Books, B.G Thomas' “Bianca`s Plan” being one of them. With a hot cuppa ,cat on my lap and feet up this is the best cure against the crazy preperation time. It's something for my heart, with a happy smile at the end.

Gavin, an out and proud single father, is working hard to support himself and his 10-year-old daughter. After his orphan childhood, all Curits dreams about is to have a family of his own. He knows how his best friend Gavin feels for him, but his „family plans“ always get in the way. Bianca is a cute and way to smart for her age girl, who has set her heart in finding a boyfriend for Daddy this Christmas. She may not look it, but she cleverly manipulates all the grown-ups around her. Still her matchmaking tries just seem to turn into hilarious disasters, while Curtis secretly grows more and more jealous. Will he dare ruining his deep friendship with Gavin to want something more?

B.G. Thomas has created a heartwarming story and boy, he has put a lot into those few pages! His MCs are well described, with depth and vibrantcy. I love his easy flowing writing style and his sharp and humorous obervation of Bianca and Curtis'set up attempts.

Paul Morey has done a brilliant job narrating this touching story. His portrays of often oblivious Gavin, confused Curtis and lovable Bianca are warm, although sometimes Bianca's lighter girly voice sounds a bit too high. I really do love his witty interpretation of flamboyant flower shop owner Preston, booming Bobby Bruebaker senior and vain ,chatty Blue! Not to forget Curtis and his animated inner voice discussions! Mr. Morey`s narration is so fresh and fluent, it always turns my advent rest into a warm and delightful break!
