And honestly, he might just be my favorite MMC in the entire series. Theo was such a cool and sexy character—protective, loving, and so genuine. The way he interacted with kids, especially Finn, completely melted my heart.
I love how all these tough, dangerous-looking men in this series turn into total softies when it comes to their women and kids. It’s such a beautiful contrast that gives these stories real emotional depth.
Piper was a very likable FMC, and I absolutely adored Finn and Nelly. The mystery, suspense, and emotional drama in this book were spot-on. I would’ve loved a bit more spice, but the tension and slow-burn teasing were done perfectly.
What I especially enjoyed was how, across all four books, each character’s story feels like it closes a circle—like Moonlit Ridge itself has this magnetic pull that draws the right people together. It’s such a lovely, full-circle feeling for the series.
And the narration—wow. Truly one of the best audiobook performances I’ve ever heard. Teddy Hamilton’s voice… I mean, my heart. His delivery is always stellar and gets right under my skin. And Kit Swan? Phenomenal. Her performance played out like a movie in my ears—I felt every emotion: fear, sadness, joy. The range she showed with different voices, from kids to older characters, was incredible.
An unforgettable listen and a perfect addition to the Moonlit Ridge series.
