While superhero stories have become increasingly popular during the last few years, there doesn't seem to be too much variety in the storylines. So this is another attempt at portraying how the young Bruce Wayne turned into the Batman (though he never even actually decides on being batman). Therefore the title is a little misleading and though you will read about the life of Bruce, Alfred and Harvey, this book is not an adventure of Batman but rather of a young Bruce.
That being said the story is ok and in some parts gripping and thrilling. However, I find the background on Bruce rather thin and prefer the comic book version (or even the Gotham Series one). I picked this up after listening to the Catwoman audiobook in this series and I must say that I am a little disappointed as I enjoyed the other one much more.
If you are looking for an easy read/listen and you're not too much into Batman anyways, this is a nice book to read.
