Welcome back for another episode of the Future Template Parent Podcast! In this episode, I have Brittney Brossart, LCSW-C on. Brittney is a trauma therapist and the owner of Soulglow Wellness LLC, a private practice in Frederick, Maryland specializing in EMDR Intensives and maternal mental health. She supports women through the complexities of motherhood, including pregnancy, postpartum, birth trauma, medical trauma, anxiety, overwhelm, and the ways attachment wounds and past experiences can become activated during motherhood.
Brittney’s approach to trauma therapy is grounded in EMDR and informed by additional training in trauma-informed yoga, dissociation and parts work, and mind-body approaches to healing. Through focused EMDR Intensives, she creates intentional space for women who are ready to spend deeper, concentrated time processing what has been weighing on them without having to fit that work into a traditional 50-minute session. Her work is compassionate, trauma-informed, and rooted in the belief that women don't have to keep holding everything together alone. Brittney is passionate about helping mothers process the past, reconnect with themselves, feel more confident in their choices, and trust their own voice.
