Scripture: Jeremiah 30:17 (KJV) — “For I will restore health unto thee, and I will heal thee of thy wounds, saith the LORD; because they called thee an Outcast, saying, This is Zion, whom no man seeketh after.” Prayer Themes • Healing • Recovery • Strength Welcome to Daily Prayer. I’m Reverend Ben Cooper. Join us live from London, England, as we pause at midday and bring those who need healing before the compassionate God of Israel. Perhaps you are recovering from illness, waiting for treatment or supporting someone whose health has become a daily concern. Perhaps your body is exhausted, or your heart is carrying wounds that have taken longer to heal than you expected. Whatever has brought you here, you are welcome in this moment of prayer. In Jeremiah 30, God speaks of restoration to His wounded people, including those who have been rejected and forgotten. We honour that promise in its original setting while remembering the compassion Jesus Christ showed towards people who were suffering. Across our worldwide family, we remember those listening in South Africa, Kenya, Ghana, Nigeria, Rwanda, Uganda, Botswana and Zimbabwe. We bring before the Lord every person who needs comfort, care and renewed strength. Heavenly Father, God of Israel, You see every hospital room, every difficult diagnosis and every family waiting for news. Lord Jesus, draw near to those living with pain, those recovering slowly and those frightened by uncertainty. We ask for Your healing mercy, while thanking You for the doctors, nurses, carers and loved ones who provide practical help. Holy Spirit, strengthen those whose bodies are weary and comfort those carrying emotional wounds. Give patience during treatment, courage during recovery and companionship to anyone who feels forgotten. May the compassion of Christ surround you, His presence sustain you and His grace give you strength for the next step. In Jesus’ precious name, Amen. Pagpalain ka ng Diyos. Que Deus te abençoe. Que Dios te bendiga. שלום וברכה — Shalom u’vracha.
