Melissa Goitia is Director of University Ceremonies and Protocol Officer at Arizona State University and co-founder of the North American Association of Commencement Officers (NAACO). A longtime ASU employee, she has held roles in academic advising, development, and event planning. She served as NAACO’s founding president and holds degrees in Journalism and Public Relations and Educational Leadership. She is also a certified Protocol Officer through the Protocol School of Washington.
