That's right, we're doing zombies! Specifically, the origins of zombies in history, and how they came to the big screen. And as is fitting for zombies, they have a dark past.
Bringing their religion over with them on the slave ships, West Africans in Haiti mixed theirs with the Roman Catholicism that their French rulers forced onto the slaves, creating Haitian Vodou. And a big part of Haitian Vodou is the belief in resurrections and zombies. But what brought the zombie to the American shores? And despite its sympathetic origin, how did they turn into one of the most popular horror movie monsters? Is this the true origins of zombies, or did Kyle make it up? Tune in now to find out!
